[Embracing the Landscape] MING MONGKOL GREEN PARK

This landscape design attempts to unleash the overlooked potentials of the site context through an expression of the blending atmosphere where the natural beauty of neglected weeds becomes recognized and appreciated amongst commuting urbanites, local people, and travelers.

The park recharged an abandoned orchard land and turned it into a lively park for neighboring communities and highway travelers. The self-sustained water flow loop is integrated into the created swale, constructed pond, and permeable pavement to slow down existing surface drainage while charging it back to the aquifer.
