A vacation house occupies one acre plot of land at a development project in Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima province. The site is situated on a prime high ground hill with the steeper slope facing the mountain range, offering an expansive view. The approach was to minimize the transformation of the site terrain and to appreciate and embrace the natural surroundings.
We decided to only shape the top part of the land flat to provide convenience for extended functions from the house and leave the rest of the steep hillside slope untouched. A straight tree line walkway leads to a welcoming entrance and takes us towards the open terrace to be met by a magnificent panoramic view of the Khao Yai National Park Mountain range.
