ได้ก่อสร้างเสร็จตั้งแต่ปีพศ.2544 บ้านหลังนี้ได้สร้างขึ้นตามเจตนารมณ์ของเ
จ้าของบ้านที่ต้องการเก็บรักษาต้นไม้ใหญ่ของเดิมที่มีอายุหลายสิบปีไว้เกือบ
ทั้งหมด เพื่อให้บรรยากาศของบ้านดูร่มรื่นและเป็นธรรมชาติ
เจ้าของบ้านและสมาชิกในครอบครัวเป็นผู้ที่รักงานศิลปะ
รวมทั้งเข้าใจในงานสถาปัตยกรรม
ได้ปรึกษากับทีมงานออกแบบตั้งแต่เริ่มก่อสร้างบ้าน โดยต้องการให้บ้านหลัง

นี้มีความร่วมสมัย อยู่อาศัยได้ยาวนาน
และแฝงไว้ด้วยจิตวิญญาณของความรักศิลปะ
เจ้าของบ้านและสถาปนิกเห็นพ้องต้องกันในการเลือกรูปทรงของอาคารที่ดูเ
หมือนงานประติมากรรมชิ้นใหญ่ที่ถูกจัดวางอยู่ในสุมทุมพุ่มไม้รอบๆ บ้าน
สถาปนิกได้เลือกใช้วัสดุคอนกรีตเปลือยผิว เป็นวัสดุหลัก
และเป็นบ้านคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กเปลือยผิวหลังแรกๆ
ในประเทศไทยในช่วงเวลาเมื่อ 35 ปีก่อนนี้

The Galleria home of Ratch and Chavali Osathanugrah,
is located at Thonglor Soi 17, Sukhumvit 55, Bangkok. Completed
in 2001, this house was built according to the homeowners to preserve nearly all the original mature trees, some
decades old, creating a lush, natural atmosphere.
The homeowner and his family are art enthusiasts with a deep
appreciation for architecture. They consulted closely with the design
team from the project, to create a home that would be
contemporary, enduring, and infused with their love of art. Together
with the architect, they agreed on building forms that resemble large
sculptures nestled within the surrounding vegetation. The architect
chose exposed concrete as the primary material, making this one of
Thailand first exposed reinforced concrete houses when it
was constructed 35 years ago.
