Thailand Master House Series Special Edition: TMH 1–6 Sketch Book by Nithi Sthapitanonda presents a curated collection of architectural sketches drawn from all six volumes of the Thailand Master House Series. Between 2022 and 2026, the author documented a series of houses across Thailand through both writing and drawing. 

Each house is defined by its unique architectural, interior, and landscape qualities, with a strong emphasis on context and its relationship to place All featured works are completed houses, many of which demonstrate the enduring qualities of timeless architecture—remaining relevant and functional over decades 

Through conversations with both residents and designers, Nithi Sthapitanonda identifies a shared foundation among these houses: a collaborative relationship between owner and architect, grounded in mutual understanding, shared sensibility, and respect 

The sketches in this volume go beyond illustration. They are a tool of observation and interpretation—capturing spatial atmosphere, details, and character in ways that photography alone cannot convey This special edition offers a deeper, more intimate way to experience architecture through the author’s hand and perspective.

หนังสือ Thailand Master House Series Special Edition: TMH 1–6 Sketch Book โดย นิธิ สถาปิตานนท์ คือการรวบรวมภาพสเก็ตช์จากหนังสือชุด Thailand Master House Series ทั้ง 6 เล่ม ซึ่งผู้เขียนได้เดินทางไปสำรวจ เรียนรู้ และบันทึกเรื่องราวของบ้านร่วมสมัยในประเทศไทยระหว่างปี 2565–2569 

บ้านแต่ละหลังในซีรีส์ล้วนมีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว ทั้งในด้านสถาปัตยกรรม ภายใน และภูมิสถาปัตยกรรม โดยให้ความสำคัญกับบริบทแวดล้อมและความสัมพันธ์กับสถานที่อย่างลึกซึ้ง บ้านทั้งหมดเป็นผลงานที่สร้างเสร็จจริง และหลายหลังสะท้อนคุณค่าของ “สถาปัตยกรรมเหนือกาลเวลา” ที่ยังคงงดงามและใช้งานได้ดีแม้ผ่านกาลเวลา 

จากการค้นคว้าและสนทนากับทั้งผู้อยู่อาศัยและผู้ออกแบบ นิธิ สถาปิตานนท์ พบว่า แก่นสำคัญของบ้านเหล่านี้คือ “ความร่วมมือ” ระหว่างเจ้าของและสถาปนิก ความเข้าใจร่วม รสนิยมที่สอดคล้อง และความสัมพันธ์ที่ตั้งอยู่บนความเคารพซึ่งกันและกัน 

ภาพสเก็ตช์ในเล่มนี้จึงเป็นมากกว่าภาพประกอบ แต่เป็นมุมมองเชิงสถาปัตยกรรมที่ผู้เขียนใช้ในการทำความเข้าใจพื้นที่ ถ่ายทอดบรรยากาศ รายละเอียด และตัวตนของบ้านในแบบที่ภาพถ่ายไม่สามารถทดแทนได้ หนังสือเล่มนี้จึงเป็นทั้งการสรุปแก่นของซีรีส์ และการเปิดมิติใหม่ของการรับรู้สถาปัตยกรรมผ่าน “เส้นสเก็ตช์”
